My finish basement has flooded 3 times since I purchased the house. I was tired of the sleepless nights everytime I saw a forecast of rain. I was referred by my manager at work and his basement got through Hurricane Irene and he did not have any water in his basement. Gregg showed up on time for the estimate and gave me a very detailed rundown on what they will do for me. I asked a lot of questions and he answered every question very thoroughly. He also provided pictures and a DVD of the entire process. We agree to the start date and received a call 2 days before to confirm the appointment. Derek and his crew showed up on time and was very careful with all my stuff, since it is a finish basement. They worked very quickly and professionally. They kept things very clean. We had Jersey Dry install waterproofing system in our basement back in March. And I must say, we are very impressed with their work. After the hurricane Irene we were the only ones on the street with a dry basement. All of our neighbors had debris removed from their flooded basement days following the hurricane but we stayed dry. Larry told me I would not be disappointed with Jersey Dry's work, and he was 100% correct. Your team arrived on Tuesday May 10, 2011, bright and early. Within minutes it looked as though they had been there for days - a true bee hive of activity. For the next 3 days it was more of the same, whether it was 9:00 in the morning or 3:00 in the afternoon, your men worked - hard and continual. Very happy with Jersey Dry's work. I am very meticulous to details and don’t get impressed easily. Prior to calling Jersey Dry, the basement had been meticulously finished with unfortunately no french drains which lead to water problems. So I was looking for a company which only installs a perfect system but also fixes what it needs to break to install the system. Jersey Dry was perfect: Dereck and team: Installed an internal french drain with a great attention to the location where the water will discharge something other companies didn’t bother so much about. They connected my underground burried gutters and the system's output to an underground pipe they placed which led to an underground pit wich helped the water be rerouted away from the home and the garage Even though the contract called for the installation of box ledges under the foundation of my 110 year old home, we found out that my foundation were not placed on dirt but concrete was first poured therefore removing the need of box ledges which reduces the total prices. This shows the honesty of the team I had a leaky radiator pipe under my finished ceiling which was fixed by the team's plumber free of charge The hard jobs were done so well that they surpassed my expectations Some easy end jobs like the base molding were not done completely to my satisfaction which I mentioned to Dereck after paying them and the team quickly came back to fix this to make sure I was satisfied and I was. This shows that the team really cares about customer satisfaction irrespective of whether they were paid already or not In conclusion, I recommend this team without any reservations and intend to use them again on my next project. some people have fairy god mothers...we have jersey dry. let me explain. we had a company install a basement waterproofing system in our two homes. one in nj and one in ny. both systems failed shortly after installation. the company would not fix the problem. after an article appeared, in the star ledger, about this very unreliable company, jersey dry contacted us. they offered to fix the problem in both of our homes as a gift to us. they were disappointed that a company in their industry was so unreliable. they fixed the problem in our nj home. they were very professional. now our basement looks great. we are so greatfrul and happy with jersey dry.
